Dr Martin Sayer receives the IIDC award on behalf of the NFSD from Cdr Ian Gallett, Chief Executive of the Society for Underwater Technology

2004 – SPUMS/UHMS Dan Trader Award for International Collaboration in Hyperbaric Research

Cdre Robyn Walker, of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) receives the joint SPUMS/UHMS award from UHMS vice-president Professor Mike Bennett on behalf of the team comprising the RAN, The Royal Adelaide Hospital, the NFSD and the Dunstaffnage Hyperbaric Unit.  The team had successfully completed research into rehydration therapies for divers.
