FULL FACE MASK FAMILIARISATION This two and a half day course is designed to give participants a familiarisation with a range of full face masks and the different types of voice communications that are available. Participants will be given basic familiarisation dives with AGA, EXO and Kirby Morgan Band masks. In addition, the methods available for bailing out from a primary air supply failure will be outlined and participants will trial these available bail out options. In addition to diving in full face masks, all participants will be expected to experience supervising a full face mask diving operation with voice communications. Entry requirements: All participants must hold a CMAS 3* equivalent diving qualification and an in-date HSE Diving at Work medical certificate. Copies of diving qualifications, medical certificates and the last 10 dive logs are required with each application. The cost per participant is £125 + VAT for the course. Participants are responsible for all travel and accommodation requirements and costs. Participants can apply to NFSD for support using the NFSD support application form. Applications to NFSD must be received at least 6 weeks before the start of the course. |
